Econoline - Full Tar
Perhaps if Idlewild kept on with their punky end of their sound, they would sound like Econoline. With a lo-fi ness about them Full Tar sounds full of American influences, a bit Pavement and a lot of At the Drive In.

Everclear - Wonderful

The song begins with various people saying 'Wonderful'. It feels like a subliminal message, trying to persuade you that the single is wonderful. Unfortunately it's not. It has this laid back rhythm, but they seem to do nothing with it. The song ends in the same way as it started, and the 'nahnahnah' bit are a bit annoying. Generally the song seems to be pretty stagnant. And after about 1 minute Art Alexakis (the lead singer)'s voice starts to get annoying. It's also not a good sign, when the single sounds exactly like a previous single, released 4 years ago.
